Job Purpose/Objectives
- To provide support in identifying and evaluating business opportunities, conducting market research, and analyzing data to support strategic decision-making.
Job & Main Specifications (Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Required Details)
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably, within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and knowledge of Nigeria’s Upstream activities and Midstream value chain.
- Knowledge of financial modelling, business analysis and business development.
- Ability to assess industry trends, identify potential partnerships and contribute to the development of business growth strategies.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks relating to upstream acquisition/divestment and development, gas processing, gas transportation and crude handling.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights into market dynamics and business performance.
- Support the development of financial models to assess the feasibility and potential returns of various business initiatives and investments.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies by providing data-driven insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, collaborations, and business opportunities that align with the organization's objectives.
- Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, including findings, recommendations and insights, to support executive decision-making.
- Cultivate relationships with external partners, industry experts and internal teams to facilitate collaboration and maximize business development opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and market dynamics to proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities.
