Job Purpose/Objectives
- To support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in driving financial planning, performance, forecasting, going concern assessments, annual budgeting, and strategic analysis across the organization.
- To assist in the preparation of key financial reports, support business decision-making processes, and help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Job & Main Specifications (Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Required Details)
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline with a minimum of five years’ experience.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is required.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 i.e., Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc. with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, X/V-LOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, financial modelling).
- Experience of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle is advantageous for data extraction purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation, coordination and review of the annual budget and periodic forecasts. Ensure alignment with business objectives and provide insights on financial performance.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders. Assist in presenting financial results and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Variance Analysis: Analyse variances between actual and forecasted financials, helping to identify trends and drivers of performance. Work with business units to explain discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Data Management and Reporting Tools: Maintain and update financial models, databases, and reports to track business performance. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key metrics, KPIs, and other relevant financial data.
- Process Improvement: Assist in streamlining financial reporting and forecasting processes. Identify areas for efficiency improvement and work with the FP&A team to implement best practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Operations, HR, etc.) to gather necessary data, provide financial insights, and assist in decision-making. Foster collaborative relationships across departments.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Support various ad-hoc financial analysis projects, as requested by senior leadership, to assist in strategic planning, investment decisions, and cost management.
- Month-End Close Support: Help facilitate month-end and year-end close processes by gathering data and providing necessary documentation to support accurate financial reporting.
- Going concern assessment: Annually as part of the entities’ going concern assumption for audit assessment, prepare the going concern model together with headroom sensitivities analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
